Do you come to my hangar, or do I fly to you?
We come to you — always. FlyBoyz is a mobile-only service team: engine monitors, electronic ignition, lithium batteries, weighing, and ACF-50 are all installed at your hangar, tiedown, or FBO. There is no shop to fly into.
What paperwork do I get?
Every installation includes logbook entries and any applicable FAA Form 337 and STC paperwork, plus a weight-and-balance revision where the work changes empty weight or CG. Ask us about our current manufacturer authorizations for the specific system you're considering.
How long does an engine monitor install take?
A typical 4-cylinder primary replacement is 2–3 days on site. 6-cylinder turbo installs with full probe replacement run 4–5 days. We give you a firm on-site window with your written quote.
What aircraft do you work on?
Piston-engine general aviation — Cessna, Piper, Beech, Mooney, Cirrus, experimental amateur-built. If it has a Lycoming or Continental, we can help.
Do you offer financing?
We work with several aviation lenders for major panel upgrades. Mention it on your quote request and we'll include options.
How do I get a quote?
Fill out the quote form for the service you're interested in, or call us directly. It's free, there's no obligation, and we never ask for payment or card details on the form. We typically respond within one business day.
When do I pay a deposit?
Never at quote time. A deposit is requested only after you've received a written quote and accepted it in writing — we then email a secure payment link. The deposit holds your crew date and is applied in full to your final invoice.
Do you charge for travel?
Travel is included as a line item in your written quote before anything is scheduled, so you see the full cost up front. There are no surprise travel charges added later.
What do you need from me before the crew arrives?
Hangar, ramp, or FBO access for the crew, power where the job requires it, and any airport authorization your field needs. Sending panel and engine photos with your quote request speeds everything up.
